Your derogatory comments won’t wash- Supporters of Hon (Dr). Ato Pandord spit
A supporting group of the incumbent Member of Parliament for Shama, Hon. (Dr.) Ato Panford, is cautioning supporters of Lawyer Abakah [an NPP parliamentary aspirant for the Shama Constituency], to end the impetuous social media comments that are aimed at denigrating the hard won reputation of of the legislator.
The group which calls itself; ‘Supporters of Hon. Dr. Panford’ in a response to a series of allegations on social media [facebook] leveled against their Member of Parliament, described their actions as phenomenal and undeniable, the fall of their candidate [Lawyer Abakah].
“They may have an idea of destroying the honorable member of parliament (Hon Dr Ato Panford) and the New Patriotic Party but they should not forget that, they are rather digging their own grave and sooner than later they would fall into their pitfalls” the group noted in a press statement.
It has been alleged by the supposed ‘Supporters of Lawyer Abakah’ that the Member of Parliament for Shama, Hon. Dr Ato Panford is being investigated by the Inter- Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) for some missing laptop computers which were meant for the Inchaban Basic School.
On another leg, the siad group alleged that the MP is under investigation by IPAC for claims of expending a GH2.5 billion for the construction of a 6 unit classroom block and 2 story dormitory for Shama senior high School.
These allegations, Supporters of Dr Panford, claim are frivolous, and evident of the ignorance and evil mentality of the ‘Supporters of Lawyer Abakah’.
“Can you imagine this? how on earth can the Inter- Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) investigate a sitting MP for what?” they added.

SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT
We are sounding a caution to the supporters of Lawyer Abakah who have taken into the social media precisely facebook to denigrate Hon Dr Ato Panford to desist from such actions.
They may have an idea of destroying the honorable member of parliament ie Hon Dr Ato Panford and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) but they should not forget that, they are rather digging their own grave and sooner than later they would fall into their pitfalls.
On one breath, IPAC is investigating Hon Dr Ato Panford due to some missing laptops at Inchaban Basic school. Can you imagine this? how on earth can the Inter- Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) investigate a sitting MP for what? we understand their frustration and ignorance of some basic rudiments of the law, this is because they do not understand the functions and remit of the IPAC so they are forgiven.
We want a clean campaign but NOT frivolous and baseless allegations against the sitting MP.
We are putting it on record that, no institution is investigating Hon Dr Ato Panford and that’s is a fact.
You cannot destroy the party you want to lead and as it stands, Hon Dr Ato Panford is still the MP for Shama Constituency until those who have picked forms, go through vetting, cleared and filed their nominations they cannot continue in that tangent of castigating, insinuating in frivolities.
We are also reminding our fellow patriots, that Shama is a swing seat, which can go the either way, therefore we must be careful in whatever we do as supporters of the various candidates.
The current MP is a democrat and he believes in competition, so we must be watchful in our utterances and know that the Supreme interest of the party is paramount to any other interest.
We are also calling on the Constituency Executives especially the Chairman and the Women’s Organizer who because of her penchant to destroy, she was expelled from the NDC to take note of what the supporters of Lawyer Abaka are doing on facebook.
To the supporters of Lawyer Abakah, we are reminding them to stay focus if not the likelihood of Lawyer Abakah collapsing for the third time is high.
