A Christian Prayer Group – Intercessory Ministers for the Nation – have given the Office of the Special Prosecutor a one-month ultimatum to make public, findings on corruption allegations made against Presidential Staffer, Charles Cromwell Onuawonto Bissue, or they will be forced to name the people behind the plot.

According to them, Anas connived with some people who are in government to bring the hard-earned reputation of a man, who was working so hard for the country, down. The Christian group made up of Pastors from some Charismatic Churches made the call at a press encounter on Monday, 2nd March, 2020.

Rev. John Taylor, who addressed the media, said they are aware that Mr. Bissue has been cleared by the CID and other investigative bodies; an indication that he is innocent of all charges against him, but the special prosecutor, to whom the issue was directly referred to, has been quite for reasons best known to him.

“We salute the Special Prosecutor for what he is doing to fight corruption, and we cannot tell him what to do, but your office has been slow in telling Ghanaians whether the man is innocent or not,” he said.

Rev. John Taylor said God has revealed to them spiritually, and have personally conducted their investigations which have confirmed that some government officials who wanted the downfall of Mr. Bissue and the government, were behind this plot.

“Bissue is not our Church member. We have just seen his face and he has not given us anything we are just telling you what God has told us,” he disclosed.

He said they are appalled with colour of the Pra and Ankobra rivers after Mr. Bissue was made to step aside as a result of the Anas documentary on galamsey fraud. They have, thus, given the government a one-month ultimatum to engage the Special Prosecutor to make public, the findings of his investigation into Bissue’s case.

“We are giving the government a month ultimatum to engage the Special Prosecutor to make his investigations known to public, else we will go to the Presidency and point out the individuals who are behind this,” he warned.
