The District Chief Executive for Wassa East, Wilson Arthur has disclosed that the government has been very responsive to providing facilities to enhance the quality of education in the area. He mentioned that the Daboase Senior High School with the advent of the Free Senior High School Policy has benefited from the government’s expansion program to enable them to enroll more students in the enclave.
Mr. Arthur mentioned that the University of Cape Coast, Institute of Distance Learning, has set up its satellite campus in the Daboase SHS to offer tertiary education for the local people.
This, he argued is as result of some positive outcome emanating from the strategic investment and other initiatives taken over the past few years to improve education in the area.
