Ghana’s semi-final tie with Ivory Coadt at the ongoing Under 23 Total Africa Cup of Nations has been moved to thr Cairo International Stadium at 4:00pm local time (14:00 hrs GMT) on Tuesday Novermber 19, 2019.
This follows an emergency Organising Committee yesterday (Sunday November 17) where the decision was taken to move the game from the Al Salam Stadium to the Cairo International Stadium and subsequently communicated to tournament stakeholders.
Later on Tuesday, hosts Egypt will take on South Africa at the Cairo International Stadium in the other semi final encounter.
Winners of both semi- final clashes will earn an automatic slot to represent Africa at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and obviously qualify for the final of the ongoing U23 AFCON Tournament in Egypt.
The third placed team in the competition will join the winner and the 1st runner up to the 2020 Olympic Games automatically.
