Tarkwa-Nsuaem MCE celebrates Eid-ul Fitr with Muslims

On Saturday, 22nd April 2023, Hon. Benjamin Kessie, Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) joined Muslim brothers and sisters in the municipality to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr at the Anglican School Park.

In his message, he admonished Ghanaians to live in unity and harmony as the country can only achieve its aim of becoming tremendous and vital through agreement.

“I bring you warm greetings from the government, as we know, Allah has accepted our prayers and sacrifices, let’s continue to live together as one nation, one region and one Tarkwa-Nsuaem”.

“We should not be divided because of politics and tribe, let’s live together as one big family to achieve a better Ghana”. Hon. Kessie added.

Muslims across the globe marked their Eid ul-Fitr today.

Eid al-Fitr is the festival of breaking the fast and marking the end of a month-long Ramadan fast.
