The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) has started relocating traders from the Takoradi market circle to a makeshift market developed at the Ahenfie Hotel area to accommodate them whilst the market circle is being developed.
The exercise which started on Wednesday, 17th February 2021 saw the first batch of 450 traders taken to the new market to show them their spots at the new place.
Skyy News has been to the new market and can report that work is progressing steadily on completing new sheds being developed for these 450 traders.
Already, more than 200 stores have been completed at this new location.
