The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association on June 30 announced no more football will be played this season, while also declaring the campaign null and void. The decision came as a hammer blow to the Skyy FC who sat on top of the Division One Zone Two table with 17 more games to go.
In a statement signed by Administrative Manager, Paul Kwasi Anyaba, the Management of the Daboase based side, is bitterly disappointed over the cancellation of the season, though it expressed some hope for a brighter season ahead.
“We welcome the news with much disappointment but also with much optimism, that the future is bright and very promising”, part of the statement read.
