Skyy News’ Nana Yaw Kumi grabs best Veterinary Journalist award

A Journalist with Takoradi based Skyy Power FM, Nana Yaw Kumi has been honored by the Western Region Department of the Veterinary Services for his dedication to the reportage on Veterinary activities in the Western Region.

Nana Yaw Kumi who is in charge of soliciting answers to issues raised ‘Community Concerns’, a segment on Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show was recognized as the journalist who has demonstrated interest in constantly seeking information from the veterinary office to educate the general public.

Nana yaw Kumi attributed his award to hard work and dedication.

“It is very refreshing to be awarded for hard work. This shows the public appreciates the kind of work we do here. This award will push us to do more for the station and the public. I’m very grateful,” he indicated.

The ceremony was organized at the head office of the Veterinary Services Department in Takoradi.
