Skyy Media Group to stock Effia Nkwanta Hospital with 400 pints of blood

Skyy Media Group has set to itself a target to raise about four hundred pints of blood, with its annual blood donation exercise, to support the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital.

Since March 6, 2003, the media giant has championed this programme, as a responsible corporate entity, to save lives, – in an attempt to end maternal and neonatal death, accident related deaths among others in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis.

Touched by the message, hundreds throng the premises of Skyy Media Group to donate blood, in support of our goal.

This morning, as usual the patronage has been impressive. Over a hundred and twenty persons as at 10:00hrs have enlisted to donate blood.

Each donor undergoes a medical screening before donating. This is a requirement, as one’s medical status at the time of donation determines the safety of the both the donor and quality of blood.

Only eligible persons are allowed to donate. Each and every person is then counselled based on the results of the test.

This year’s blood donation program is being supported by Carmeuse Ghana Limited,Stellar Group of Companies, Ayrton Drugs, Kendicks pharmacy, Promasidor-producers of Cowbel, God is Love, 1st Samuel Provision Store, Standard Water, Court Chop Bar, Abrowa Enterprise, Hans bakery, Super Hide Out bakery,and Amponsah Effa Pharmacy.
