Member of Parliament for the Shama Constituency has reiterated his commitment to fulfill all campaign promises to his people.
Speaking with Skyy News, Hon. Ato Panford who interacted with the chiefs and people in the area, revealed that plans to kick start some infrastructural projects and capacity building programs for the youth – promises he made to his people – are far advanced.
Hon. Ato Panford inspected a CHIPS compound at Abuesi from his fund,a health centre from the community development fund at Konfieku and cut a sod at Obinim Okyena for the construction of a 10 bedroom capacity teachers quarters at Obinim Okyena.
After visiting the above listed projects, the former vice president of the Association of Ghana Industries told Skyy News that his focus currently is on youth development, infrastructure and education.
”My target now is the youth, getting employment for the youth is my priority and I have task all the contractors that apart from their core employees, any additional hand should be the local boys in the community for the project he said” he stated.
He therefore called on the people of Shama to exercise some level of restraint and support the government because the constituency is endowed with a lot of human and natural resource potential which they can strategically harness if they only they would be patuent and supportive.
