The Church of Pentecost International has targeted to achieve a cleaner Ghana by end of 2023 through its ambitious Environmental Care Campaign taken nationwide. The campaign which is an initiative of the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye, is to instill a sense of responsibility to keeping our environmental clean.
Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Sekondi, Apostle Daniel Kojo Sey citing the Holy Scripture noted that “cleanliness is Godliness”, and that charged the church and Ghanaians to contribute to maintaining a cleaner and healthy environment.

“…we are trying to tell the whole of Sekondi and its environs that when we are saved, we are saved with a holistic view…that once you are saved, God is expecting you to have a good health, and God is expecting you to be a good person. So we are trying to inculcate this vision in our people who are around this area” he told members of the church as they prepare for a cleanup exercise in Sekondi.
The clean up exercise was taken around Komfoase, Enamase, Sekondi Lorry Station, the landing beach, European town and other areas of the Sekondi township last Saturday morning.
