Religious denominations urged to care for each other and stay in harmony
The Western Regional Minister, Mr Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah is urging all religious denominations to continue caring for each other and also protect religious harmony and tolerance.
He said this when he joined Muslims to celebrate the Eid-ul-Adha festival in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis on Saturday, July 9.
He said, “As we celebrated Eid-ul-Adha yesterday, I called on Muslims and all religious denominations to continue the good works and care for each other as the world keeps changing each day with challenging economic implications. I urged us to stay in harmony and also protect our religious tolerance.”
“I entreated all to be vigilant of the increasing terrorist threat and emphasized that we must all say something whenever we see something.”
