Raphael Akakpo Patron sets to join Skyy FC as Head Coach
Raphael Akakpo Patron, a former Asante Kotoko assistant tactician, is almost ready to become the new head coach of Skyy FC.
As Johnson Smith left the club, the retired Togolese player will take over as head coach for the Daboase-based team.
Despite an amazing tenure with the Daboase-based club, Johnson Smith, who joined Skyy FC before the 2022–23 league season, has returned to Nations FC.
Johnson Smith and Akakpo Patron were assistant coaches at Ghanaian powerhouse Asante Kotoko and had a similar approach to all-out attacks.
It has been determined that the former WAFA SC and Liberty Professionals coach is the ideal choice to carry on the Skyy FC project and a great replacement for Johnson Smith.
After 18 games, Skyy FC is presently in first place in the zone two league standings with 44 points, followed by Nations FC with 42 points.
