Prince Acquah’s thunderbolt enough for Skyy FC to maintain 8 points gap
Zone 2 league leaders of the Access Bank Division One League Skyy FC extended points from 44 to 47 at the Asafo Ramos park.
The Daboase-based club visited the Western North Region on Sunday with high morale of motivation after the 3-0 win over Nations FC at Daboase to extend points at the top of zone 2 of the Access Bank Division One League.
Coach JK started Emmanuel Kwaku Ansah as the safest pair of hands and Eric Ametepe led the attack alongside Baba Amando and John Dadzie.
The first department of the game ended goalless, Coach JK’s double substitution in the second half did the magic for the Indomitable Eagles of Wassa East.
The introduction of Baba Panso and Andrews Cobbina changed the dynamics of the game.
The former Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars player scored his first goal on the 71st-minute mark through a thunder strike from 28yards range and goalkeeper Frimpong Manso of Sefwi all-stars couldn’t save the long-range thunderbolt.
His lone goal was enough to fetch the 3 maximum points to maintain the 8 points gap between Skyy FC and Nations FC.
Skyy FC will host Kenpong FC in match week 20.
