Prices of petrol and gas to reduce by 8%, 7%, but diesel to increase
The prices for petroleum in Ghana will see some significant changes from Saturday, July 2nd, 2022.
The changes are a result of new data issued by the Bulk Oil Distribution Companies sighted by Skyy Power FM.
The price of petroleum products is expected to go down by almost 8% per litre this coming weekend.
Also, it is expected for a kilogram of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to also go down by over 7%.
But the price of diesel in the country will increase by over 3% per litre.
These significant changes in fuel prices come as a result of some favourable developments in the international market.
On June 16th, 2022, prices of petroleum products shot up by 11% and it is the hope that over 150 Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) will pass on these reductions to consumers coming this Saturday.
