Young man murdered, parts mutilated in Kyekyewere in Western Region.
Residents of Kyekyewere, a farming community in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality, woke up to the suspected murder of a young man, with his manhood mutilated.
The body of the deceased was found on the street with his manhood mutilated.
Narrating the account of how the body of the deceased was found, a resident of Kyekyewere, Alfred, told Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM, some farmers who were on their way to the farm in the early hours of Tuesday, saw the lifeless body and subsequently raised an alarm.
“The rubber farmers here go to farm very early so they saw the body and drew the attention of the rest of the community to the scene,” he said.
He also indicated that the community is yet to come to the terms with the situation since such an incident has never happened in the community before.
He said they are yet to identify where the deceased come from but they suspect the body was dumped after taking away his vital parts.
“The deceased was not from the community and we suspect they dumped him hereafter taking his manhood and you can see that they were in a hurry so they took only his scrotum leaving behind his penis” Alfred disclosed.
The Police are yet to get to the scene of the incident at press time.
