Our 4 years’ performance surpasses the NDC 8 years- Joe Ghartey
Minister for Railway Development, Joe Ghartey says the Nana Addo-led government has gotten more to show in its four year term than the eight year administration of the National Democratic Congress’. The Minister exclaimed that their administration [New Patriotic Party] in spite of being burdened by the indebtedness of the previous government [NDC], championed an accelerated development of the Ghanaian economy. He dared the NDC to prove what they did in their eight year term.
“They said we’ve done nothing…then the narrative changed when they saw us doing something, they saying you’ve now started doing something. But ask them, for their eight years in power what have they done? There’s nothing to show of what they completed…from Apollo to Nkroful road, where they able to complete?
“No! Not even one lane of the road. From Effia Nkwanta to Fijai Hospital, were they able to complete a single lane? So I ask; did JUSTMOH experience any mechanical breakdown? What about Asebea? The fact is that, they didn’t pay them! It’s a question about money. The contractors were able to complete the project when we came… we paid them to get the road constructed” he charged.
Hon. Joe Ghartey stressed that the New Patriotic Party will win the elections for being truthful and honest about their assurances to the Ghanaian people.
“We are going to win this election. We are not going to win because we are wonderful, we are not going to win because of anything but for speaking the truth and the truth will set us free” he added.
Hon. Joe Ghartey has been acclaimed by delegates of Essikado Ketan Constituency, as the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the December 7 polls. He has promised to give the NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Dr. Grace Ayensu Dankwa, a voting difference so wide she could hardly comprehend.
