One good turn deserves another, Shama MP tells delegates as he submit nomination forms
Delegates within the New Patriotic Party, Shama Constituency, have been asked to reward the Nana Addo led administration and the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, with another term for a continued and inclusive development.
The legislator for the area, Hon. (Dr.) Ato Panford after the filing of his nomination form this morning at the party office, appealed to delegates to take cognizance of the impressive development that has been undertaken within the constituency over the past three years, relative to a rather stagnated one the National Democratic Congress (NDC) brought with its eight year administrative and political tenure.
“I believe the delegates will repose that confidence in me just as they did in 2016. As at that time I wasn’t even the Member of Parliament but I came in as an industrialist to support my party and help bring the flag of NPP back to Shama Constituency.
“For three years down the lane, comparatively what we’ve done… as to what the NDC did in eight years, I think we are far far ahead. And I believe that with the good works we will retain political power beyond 2020” he told Skyy News’ Nana Yaw Kumi in an exclusive interview.
He thus called on delegates and party faithful to support his bid for the parliamentary position and ultimately seal it with an overwhelming victory in the coming election.
