NCC Congress: Kotoko CEO sends a chilling message to club supporters

Below is the full message from the Chief Executive of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the he National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante Kotoko at their Congress on Saturday, November 7, 2020, the Bed Time Hotel in Koforidua, Eastern Region.

A CALL TO MOBILISE

The NCC Chairman Mr. Christopher Damenya, RCC Chairmen, NCC Members, I bring you warm greetings from HM Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, The Dr. Kwame Kyei led Board of Directors, Management and our cherished sponsors.

It is a great honour to represent you as the Chief Executive Officer of our great club. My management and I thank You

for the unflinching support given us thus far. We will not let you down.

I was given the mantle of this great club on the 7th of August 2020 to form a management to run the day to day affairs of Asante Kotoko for the next three years. My management team was unveiled on the 22nd of September 2020. The task is a herculean one but surmountable with your support.

As indicated at the unveiling of my management, we will come to you the owners of the club to render accounts of our stewardship on the 100th day.

We have made great strides within this short period including but not limited to signing of 7 sponsorship/partnership deals, the start of Adako Jachie training complex project phase one to be completed in December 2020, restructuring of our administrative setup, effective recruitment and many more.

Rome was not built in a day, so patience is key as we lay a solid foundation on which we will build the super structures of Asante Kotoko.

As I have stated on numerous occasions, there is nothing my management would achieve that Asante Kotoko has not seen in our 85 years. Our ambition is to put the pieces together to establish an even greater institution with befitting contents.

Supporters of any football club are the true owners of the club. They are the blood that flows through the veins of the club. Asante Kotoko is blessed to have a strong supporters front that has stood the test of time.

As supporters, you are also customers of the club. Your patronage fuels the club. It is therefore important that you continue to fuel the Asante Kotoko vehicle to an enviable destination.

Your role in mobilising the support base of the club cannot be underestimated. It is on your solid foundation laid, that will form the cornerstone to the success of our planned census project. It is therefore our fervent prayer that, all of us will be committed to this project to ensure that we have strong data to back our population claims.

We as management are ready to work hand in hand with you to achieve greatness for our darling club.

We are committed to a united front to propagate and promulgate the goodness of brand Asante Kotoko.

Together, we shall make Asante Kotoko Great Again.
