MTN Ghana presents GH7K cheque, gifts to support Essikado Kuntum Festival
Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana as a demonstration of their corporate responsibility and admiration for tradition has donated a cheque valued at seven thousand Ghana Cedis and other gifts to the Paramount Chief for Essikado Traditional Area, Nana Kobina Nketsiah V. MTN is a proud sponsor of the 2019 Essikado Kuntum Festival, and has taken to itself promoting and enhancing customers’ experience of their services and products.
The gesture, according to the Regional Manager, South West Business district of MTN, Prince Charles Nyarkoh is to support this year’s Essikado Kuntum Festival. He mentioned that MTN remains committed to enhancing the experience of indigenous culture.
“MTN Ghana is an African company and thus appreciates traditions and culture” he emphasised.
Paramount Chief for Essikado Traditional Area, Nana Kobina Nketsiah V, commended MTN Ghana for the gesture. He was also thankful the company had dedicated a week long packed activities to promote the festivity and their brand.
“We are very grateful to MTN. This week long celebration would have been actualised without their support.
“You must understand that this festival is not just for Essikado, it is that of MTN too. Lets make it memorable” Nana Kobina Nketsiah V remarked.
