Methodist Church supports Wesley Girls’ directive to prevent Muslim students from fasting

The Methodist Church of Ghana has responded to the Ghana Education Service directives for Wesley Girls’ School in Cape Coast to allow Muslim student fast the Ramadan period.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 by the Methodist Church Ghana, they addressed the Ghana Education Service that, the school cannot accede to the unilateral directives issued by the Ghana Education Service and insist that the Ghana Education Service respects the long standing relationship between the Mission Schools and the Government.
