Mahama’s 2020 Manifesto highlights revealed

The major opposition political party in Ghana; the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is yet to officially outdoor its 2020 Manifesto, however, some key highlights have been teased out by the National Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi. The Communications Officer took to his twitter page with an animation that scripted assurances the John Dramani Mahama government will keep to the Ghanaian people when voted into power 2021.

The assurances number sixteen (16), covers areas such as Health, Education, Economy, Media, Physical Infrastructure development and Governance.

They are outlined below:

1.     Expand and double the capacity of the 37 Military Hospital

2.     Construct 2 international standard infectious disease centers

3.     Establish 2 international research centers

4.     Establish a National Infectious Disease Plan

5.     Make Ghana safe for Journalists

6.     Bring back Companies collapsed by the NPP

7.     Build Six regional hospitals in new regions

8.     Build six new Universities in new regions

9.     Free Technical and Vocational training

10.  Cancel Teacher National Service and Licensure Exams

11.  Comprehensive review SHS

12.  Complete the abandoned E-blocks

13.  Complete the abandoned Hospital projects

14.  Reduce the size of government by 40 ministers

15.  Fix the Eastern corridor roads

16.  Dualize Aflao, Cape Coast, and Kumasi roads
