Investigations by the Ghana police has revealed the spiritualist involved in the Kasoa murder is a nursing mother of a 2 week-old baby.
The fetish priestess by name Charity Mensah is reported to be a Togolese married to a festish priest by name Solomon Adjololo who together run the shrine business. The arrested suspect is reported to be the partner who promotes the business with the media to attract more customers.
The husband is also reported to be an ex-convict who hails from Aflao in the Volta Region. The shrine is said to be located in Amanhyia in the Eastern Region. IN 2017, Solomon Adjololo was found guilty by the Koforidua Court for using his car to cause the deaths of two persons and injured another at Addo-Nkwanta near Nankese in Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to the Daily Graphic, residents of Amanhyia once stormed his shrine and chased him out of the community accusing him of using his shrine to do bad things before his conviction. He relocated to Hwanabenya near Suhum after his sentence.
The fetish priestess was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after police stormed the shrine were she was breast feeding her two week-old baby. The baby has since been in the care of her elder sister in Somanya.
Four suspects have been arrested so far in connection to the murder as investigation is still being carried out according to the police.
