I’ll win by simple majority, the delegates believe in me- Incumbent MP, Ahanta West
The Member of Parliament for Ahanta West, Ebenezer Kojo Kum is confident of emerging victorious in the April 2020 primaries of the New Patriotic Party, in the constituency.
The defending parliamentary representative, after filling his nomination for the primaries, with vigor, told Skyy News that the delegates have full confidence in his ability and competence to deliver on their expectations in terms of development.
He said; “I am very confident, given the out-pour of support this morning, the election, with the support of these delegates, I am going to win to win on 25 April, 2020”
“I am confident that I’m going to win this election, and you must come to understand that it is a simple majority. The delegates that have assembled here, the good people of Ahanta West are not going to disappoint me” he stressed.
Hon. Kojo Kum advised his supporters to refrain from insults and acrimony, as they will need a united from after the primaries.
“I will appeal to the delegates to conduct a very decent campaign, devoid of acrimony, insults and vulgar language. This is an internal contest” he advised.
Two persons; the Hon. Ebenezer Kojo Kum and a former District Chief Executive, Kwesi Biney, have since expressed interest to contest the parliamentary candidature on the ticket of the NPP, in the constituency.
Many believe this would be a fierce contest between the two come 25 April, 2020.
