Hearts of Oak have denied that the club paid a reported ‘draw’ bonus to the players after the stalemate against Karela United last Sunday.
The management had promised the team an unknown amount as a winning bonus before the fixture in Anyinasie.
However, the game ended one-all draw with the Phobians coming from a goal down to level things late in the match.
Several reports claimed that the management despite the draw paid GH¢8,000 to the players for picking a point at a difficult ground.
In a press statement released on Wednesday, the club stated that they ‘don’t “celebrate” draw’.
Hearts of Oak following the draw moved to 3rd on the table with 34 points, 2 points adrift at the top.
The Rainbow side will travel to Dawu next to play Dreams FC on match week 22 of the Ghana Premier League.
