Good News: Ghana’s COVID-19 recoveries hit 10,074
The latest statistics shared by the Ghana Health Service on their website regarding the country’s COVID-19 case counts shows some promising results. The country has over the past hours, cumulatively recorded ten thousand and seventy-four (10,074) patients having recovered from the novel coronavirus.
Some five hundred and fourteen (514) new cases however, have been confirmed in across the country, bringing to tally the nation’s cumulative positive cases to thirteen thousand, seven hundred and seventeen (13,717). Our COVID-19 related deaths have also risen to eighty-five (85).
By deduction, and as represented on the data reported by the government agency, the country’s active cases stands at three thousand, five hundred and fifty-eight (3,558).
The Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western Regions, have been identified as hot-spots for the viral disease.
