#GhPL: Medeama play-maker Rashid Nortey signs contract extension.

Medeama Sporting Club playmaker Rashid Nortey has extended his current contract by three years.

Nortey, whose initial contract was due to expire at the end of the current football season, is now tied to the club until 2023.

The midfielder has been a regular feature in Medeama’s team since recovering from a long-term injury and has helped the club solidify their grip on the Ghana Premier League top spot.

Speaking moments after signing the dotted papers, Rashid Nortey expressed his delight at spending three more years with what he considers, a family.

“I’m very happy to sign this fresh deal and I’m thrilled to remain here. This is more than a football club. It’s a big family and we hope to make our fans happy this season and the seasons ahead” he told the club’s official website, medeamasc.com.
