Ghacem Limited, a leading cement-producing company in Ghana has unveiled a new product into the cement family.

The Superplast Masonry Cement Type M, a cement product for plastering and blocklaying was launched on Monday, September 25 in Takoradi.

The Commercial Director for the company Mr Kwasi Kyere speaking at the launch said the Superplast Masonry Cement is a product tailored to meet the unique needs of the construction industry, focusing on quality and value for money.

He said they understand the importance of providing innovative solutions that cater to the commercial sector’s demands.

He said, “We recognize that cost-effectiveness is a critical factor in any construction project, and Superplast has been specifically designed with this in mind. what makes Superplast the best for your projects?”

“Ghacem has always been dedicated to putting the customer first. We always provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure that our valued Distributors maximize the benefits of this product. The ease of use and consistency of Superplast translate into increased productivity in buildings. With faster and more efficient construction processes, projects can be completed on time or even ahead of schedule, reducing labour costs and boosting profitability.”

The Quality Manager of Ghacem in Takoradi, Mr John Teye Ohipeni said the product has been certified on all international standards and will help bring the cost of construction down.

He also suggested that in the wake of the recent collapse of buildings in the country, he sees it necessary for manufacturers and artisans who work with cement to be licensed and certified.

Mr. Ohipeni indicated the District and Municipal Assemblies must take on this task and make sure artisans who work with cement are certified so only the trained and quality ones will be in the market to prevent these unforeseen circumstances.
