Flag bearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party Hon. Kwabena Adjei Aygepong says he is saddened by the state of Ghana football following the recent abysmal performances of the various national teams and the low turnout at various match centres of the local league.

The Black Stars suffered an early exit from the 2022 World Cup after losing to Portugal and Uruguay while beating South Korea in Group H.

The Black Galaxies’ performance at the just-ended CHAN tournament was nothing to write home about as the team exited at the quarterfinals stage following a 2-0 defeat to Niger.

Speaking to Skyy Media Group sports desk, the former general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Former host of GTV’s sports highlights and now astute football administrator says it is not right for the Ghana Football Association to not be accountable to anybody.
