Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Karela United, Elloeny Amande is confident of both commercial and sporting success during his time in charge.
Elleony Amande was confirmed as the Ghana Premier League side’s new C.E.O today in a club statement, signed by board chairman, Abena Brigidi.
Speaking moments after confirming his appointment, Amande express pride in serving his home club while being confident of a successful reign.
”As a son of the land, I am excited to be able to bring my expertise in marketing, media and law to help my home region club Karela FC fulfil the objectives that the founders set for the club.
I am grateful to the board for this opportunity to serve and I am confident that we will be successful on and off the pitch” he stated.
Elleony Amande, a one time media practitioner who among many media firms, worked for Skyy Power FM in Takoradi, Joy FM and TV3 in Accra, currently practices law and is well experienced in marketing too.
Amande who hails from Krisan in the Ellembelle District, previously managed the sponsorship relationship between Goldfields Ghana Limited – whose interest he represented – and the Ghana Football Association. He later became a member of Goldfields Ghana Limited’s legal team.
The club will announce a newly constituted management team in the coming weeks.
