Elembelle MP initiates ‘Food Bank Project’ to support the needy

The Member of Parliament for the Elelbelle Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has launched the Food Bank project to support and feed the elderly, sick and the less privileged in the Ellembele District and it’s immediate environs.

The Food Bank, which is a brain child of the former Minister of Energy in the Mahama Administration, is to alleviate hunger in the district.

It will receive donations from the general public, and thereafter distributed to everyone who falls in that category.

According to sources, the Food Bank is strictly not a partizan initiative, and will be managed by non politicians – mainly the Clergy, Chiefs and Imams in the district.
