COVID19: 31 recover from disease in Ghana – Health Minister
Health Minister Kwaku Agyemang Manu has confirmed that, thirty one more patients who tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (COVID19) have recovered from the pandemic and have subsequently been discharged.
Speaking at a press briefing earlier today, the Minister expressed delight at the development and encouraged Ghanaians not to leave the Greater Accra or Ashanti regions because of the lock down.
“There is no point trying to leave Accra to go anywhere, just stay where you are and let us contain the disease where you are, luckily for us, the disease is not killing people in Ghana as compared to elsewhere. This morning the report that i had which i have not even reported on it yet is that, we have treated and discharged 31 people. So when you have this condition, don’t go and hide anywhere spreading. Every single contact is likely to take from you,” he indicated at the briefing that saw him address officials from the Ghana Cocoa Board after a donation.
