COVID 19 fight: Carmeuse donates sanitary items to 3 communities

Lime manufacturing company, Carmeuse Ghana Limited, as a proof of their corporate citizenship and responsibility to their host communities, have donated a total of 62 veronica buckets, 30 pieces of liquid soaps, and eight packets of tissues to the Essipong, Mpintsin and Sofokrom communities.

General Manager for the company, Mr. Kwaku Dadzie shared with Skyy News that the fight against the novel coronavirus ought to be a shared responsibility hence the rational for their gesture.

“We see this to be a little contribution from us, in fighting the disease which is affecting all of us” he said.

Chief of Essipong Traditional Area, Nana Kofi Abonah V who received the items, expressed satisfaction with the gesture. She prayed that Ghanaians learn to maintain enhanced personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness, post-pandemic.
