Black Stars Call Up: Coach CK Akonnor to Meet the Press

The technical handlers of the Ghana senior national men’s team, the Black Stars are expected to name a 23 man squad for the Afcon qualifier game against Sudan in Cape Coast.

In what has generated applause from far and near, the head coach, Charles Kwabla Akonnor will meet the press to name the squad and give reasons why those players were settled on.

The Press confab will take place at the M Plaza hotel in Accra at 10am today.

Skyypowerfm.com sources within the technical team have it that at least, 3 local players will be handed a call up.

This will be CK Akonnor’s first call up and assignment after he took over from James Kwasi Appiah whose contract run out in December.
