Headmistress of Benso Senior High Technical School, Mrs Helena Ama Dogobley has reimbursed monies she collected from the final year students writing the WASSCE in the school.
The Headmistress collected 200 cedis each from the students to transport examination materials to the school.
Mr Frank Justin Afful, the Assemblyman for Benson Electoral Area speaking to Naomi Afriyie on the Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) said a committee set up to investigate the issue directed that she pays back the money.
According to him, some parents have called him to confirm that indeed their wards have been given back their monies.
He said the Assembly has also provided a vehicle with a driver to safely transport the examination materials to the school at no cost.
He added that though the relationship between the SMC and the Headmistress is cordial, they will also seek the good interest of the School first.
