Assemblyman for Benso electoral area in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality has accused the Headmistress of Benso Senior High Technical School.

Mr Frank Jackson Afful, is accusing her of neglecting the School Management Committee and solely taking decisions that are affecting the school negatively.

Mrs Helena Ama Dogobley has been accused of demanding money from the final year students to transport examination materials from Takoradi to the School.

The Assemblyman, speaking to Skyy News on the issue said, these are rumours that no parents or students have reported to his outfit.

He said though the school is currently without a bus, the Assembly has been assisting the school during the final exams to transport examination materials to the school.

He was surprised why the Headmistress failed to reach out to the assembly this time around.

He said, “The school don’t have any bus for transportation and recently, all the buses which have been given to them by the government over the years have all broken down.”

“Last year when they had no bus for the transporting of papers from Takoradi, they confronted the assembly and we gave them a vehicle to go for the papers, so I don’t understand why this time around, they did not come to us but rather demanding money from the students.”
