Alleged kidnappers face judgment on March 5 over murdered Tadi girls
The two Nigerian nationals accused of murdering the four Takoradi girls are set to face judgment on March 5, 2021.
The two, Samuel Udoetuk Wills and John Orji were arranged before the Sekondi High Court on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
They were initially charged with conspiracy to kidnap. However, the charge was later changed from conspiracy to murder in 2020. The judgment is set on the given date after the lead lawyer for the accused murderers closed their cross-examinations and defense.
The state attorney, Patience Klinogo has been asked by the presiding judge, Justice Richard Adjei Frimpong to file her written address on February 17, 2021.
Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong also directed that they will all give an oral address to the seven-member Jury on 3rd March before judgment day.
The jury however will pass a verdict after listening to the oral addresses from both the prosecution and the defense lawyers.
