Barnabas Anan, the Special aid to the Member of Parliament of Ahanta West Constituency, has stated that their MP is fast recovering and he is currently working from home as expected of him as the people’s representative who doubles as a Minister of State as well.
Contrary to calls for lawyer Ebenezer Kojo Kum to step down as MP for Ahanta West due to ill-health for parliament to declare the seat vacant so that bye-elections can be organized by the electoral commission so that the good people of Ahanta West can duly have a representation.
The special aid to the MP told Skyy Headline News the MP is doing better now and has facilitated a number of projects to commence in the Constituency.
His comments follow a plea by Mr Kofi Adu who is the Vice Chairman for the NDC in the Ahanta West Constituency, that the MP, Ebenezer Kojo Kum should humbly step down for a bye-election if his health continues to deteriorate.
But the Special aid to Ebenezer Kojo Kum believes said his comments are mere propaganda just to create public disaffection for the hard-working ‘fantastic Kojo Kum’ as affectionately called by his constituents.
