Residents of some parts of Adiembra, a suburb of Sekondi in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis are bitterly complaining about the absence of tap water in their locality for almost a month.
Some residents speaking to Skyy Power 93.5FM indicated that tap water has not flowed in the town for almost a month now so they have to resort to drawing water from wells and also buying water from neighbouring towns.
According to them, it is draining them economically and physically as they spend more money on water from neighbouring towns.
Although the tap is not flowing, the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) brings in water bills for them to pay which to them is somehow confusing.
They then appealed to the authorities to find a solution to their water problem as it has now turned into a crisis.
