President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has challenged Ghanaians to assess the two major political parties, and their flagbearers in making a decision to vote in the December 7 polls.
In an interesting question to the Ghanaian electorates, President Nana Addo charged that such decisions should be based on who amongst them is best fit to transform the country to a better state.
In a recorded video conferencing with his Campaign Advisory Team, His Excellency the President inferred that his second bid for the Presidency is being challenged by a former President of the Republic [John Mahama], and that is a novelty in the Ghanaian election.
He added that, a comparison between the two would provide a clear distinction of competence and leadership that need to be factored in the decision to vote during the election.
“We still have to ask ourselves, who is best to manage the affairs of our country, both in normal times as well as in extraordinary times like these last three or four months.” he quizzed.
He stated that his government has over the period made a mark in virtually every part of the country, with its programme and development.
“…and in talking about the records that we need to stress as NPP, is the quality of achievements in various areas, whether it’s in health, education, infrastructure development, across board, social and economic has been one that has affected virtually everybody in the country. There’s no part of Ghana that has been left out in the programmes and development of this government…and that has to be a very critical aspect of outreach.” he explained.
