It appears there is a dossier of untruth that had shrouded the investigative report by the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) on the ‘Contract for Sale’ exposé produced by Investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni on the former boss of the Public Procurement Authority, Mr. Adjenim Boateng Adjei. The embattled public servant, who was recently fired by the President following the recommendation of the CHRAJ Boss, Joseph Whittal, says the entire investigative report was concocted to suit a grand scheme to discredit him.
In a furious reaction to the matter which is unfolding, Mr. Adjenim Boateng Adjei said he’s geared up to ‘wage war’ against the entire commission and most especially the boss, Joseph Whittal, who ‘ignorantly’ endorsed the report.
Mr. Boateng Adjei alleged that the CHRAJ Boss did not partake in the investigation and as well failed to interrogate the content as produced by his officers before sanctioning it for the President. He remarked that such negligence had caused him greatly and he will not forgive him for that.
“I’m at war with the CHRAJ” he said, stressing that; “Joseph Whittal should be held responsible.”
Mr. Boateng Adjei lamented that the entire investigation was carried out by a team who were already compromised and as such only sort to capitalize on finding one specific wrong other than the subject of the allegations, “just to get me into public trial”
“They were just caring aspersions, assumptions and all manner of things” he added.
He noted that his silence at the time of investigations was to enable the commission to complete its work so that no one could fault him for interfering with the process.
He disclosed that the entire expose was a set up by some big men who wished his downfall. He alleged that those persons did find their way to influence the Investigation and the content of the report.
“We sensed danger and there are more to it” he stated, indicating how his lawyers attempted to counter or uncover those forces by requesting for some disclosure on the part of the CHRAJ officers.
Mr. Boateng Adjei indicated that Manasseh was the bait those players used to set him up.
