Mr. Fred Kakraba Sam, the Chief Executive of the Fred Kakraba Sam Foundation has donated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Western Region ahead of the December 2020 polls. This is seen by many as the single largest donation that any individual has done to support the NPP’s campaign for re-election in 2020.
The items, according to him, are to help the party to deepen its campaign to get the flag bearer and incumbent President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo reelected to continue ruling the country.
They include twenty (20) motorbikes, four (4) Communication gadgets, one thousand (1000) NPP branded pens, stationery materials (ten boxes of A4 sheet), and a cash donation.
Speaking to the Press after the donation of the items to the Regional Chairman of the NPP-Western Region, Mr. Kakraba Sam explained that his action is to help the party in its mobilization effort to get the NPP reelected, and to get the vision of Nana Addo-Bawumiah to reach every corner of the country.
“As you can see, we are here to make a donation to the party in the region. This is to help the party in the region to help in canvassing for votes for the party,” he stated.
The items were received by the Regional Chairman, Francis Ndede Siah, with support from the Regional Secretary; Charles Bissue, and the Regional Organiser; Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed.
