A 44-year-old male taxi driver has died at Essaman in Sekondi, in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.
The deceased, Mr Ahinful Appiah was found dead on the shores of the Essaman Sea in the late hours of Wednesday, afternoon, September 27.
However, the incident surrounding his death seems sketchy as witnesses say that even though he was found dead at the seashore, he did not drown as witnesses alleged that it was death by suicide.
Some family members told Skyy News that the deceased had not been in a rightful state of mind for some time now and were alleging death by suicide.
The body has been deposited at the morgue pending an autopsy.
An autopsy is yet to prove the cause of death. The deceased left behind 2 children and a wife.
