Jafaru, a 27-year-old male has met his untimely death after allegedly attempting to steal power cables at Abura, in the Cape North Electoral Area in the Central Region.
The lifeless body of Jafaru was found beside the stolen power cables in the early hours of Sunday, July 9, around 4:30 am. Assemblyman in the area, Hon. Moses Arthur told the media that, the deceased was a coconut seller and a well-known drug addict.

The assemblyman in the area, Mr Moses Arthur told Skyy News that the suspect, now deceased sells coconut and is also well known for doing hard drugs.
He said “Jafaru has been suspected of being part of a gang that has been terrorising and stealing from residents in the area.
Hence the incident which led to his death is not a surprise to the many people in the area.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital pending an autopsy.
