According to him, inaccurate reportage has the tendency of causing confusion especially among political parties and their supporters.

”2020 is an election year, and Peace Council, together with our partners, have a major role to ensure the elections become peaceful, and the media is our number one stakeholder. We want to start early to refresh our memory on the roles we all have to play to ensure the elections becomes peaceful,” he Noted.

Rev. Ernest Kwofie tells Skyy News in an interview, the media is a major partner of the Electoral Commission in ensuring the elections are conducted successfully.

”We are doing this, so that there will be that balanced reportage when we start to work on our articles and presentations on this election. We want to remind ourselves the need to remain neutral so that people will not read negative meanings into why these articles are being published. But beside this workshop, we will meet all political parties and other religious bodies as well,” Rev. Ernest Kwofie noted.
