Head of the Local Government Service, Dr. Ing. Nana Ato Arthur in an exclusive interview with Skyy News stressed the need for the under-performing districts to learn and share best practices from higher performing ones, so they could improve their performance in the coming years.
He mentioned that the service as a matter of need will consider some capacity building and networking with sister-cities to improve upon areas they fell short, in terms of the performance indicators used.
He however added that, the necessary sanctions and motivations would be applied to get MMDAs up their game to support the development in their areas.
